- Disclosed are a multichannel audio signal processing method and a multichannel audio signal processing device. The multichannel audio signal processing method comprises steps of identifying a downmixsignal and an N/2 residual signal of an N/2 channel generated from an input signal of an N channel; outputting a first signal and a second signal by applying the downmix signal and the residual signalof the N/2 channel to a pre-decorrelator matrix; applying the first signal that is not decorrelated by the decorrelator to the mixing matrix, applying the decorrelated second signal output from the decorrelator to the mixing matrix to output output signals of the N channel.
