Abstract
본 발명은 제1 반도체층; 제2 반도체층; 및 상기 제1 반도체층 및 제2 반도체층 사이에 위치하고, 방사성 동위원소층이 양면에 코팅된 금속 기판을 포함하는 베타선 발생부;를 포함하는 베타 전지를 제공한다. 본 발명에 따른 베타 전지는 밀봉층이 없으나 샌드위치 구조를 통해 효율적으로 베타선을 차폐할 수 있으며, 밀봉층이 없기 때문에 베타선의 반도체 흡수율이 향상되고, 양면에 코팅된 방사성 동위원소 선원 및 2 개의 반도체층으로 인해 출력이 향상되어 에너지 변환 효율이 우수하다.
