- The invention relates to a method and apparatus for transmitting a downlink reference signal, and a method and apparatus for transmitting control information in a multi-cell collaborative communication system. Provided is a method for a base station to set channel state information (CSI)-reference signal (RS). The base station sets a CSI-RS antenna port for a terminal. For the terminal, the base station selects one of at least one port number mapping rule for mapping a port number to the CSI-RS antenna port. Further, the base station notifies the terminal of the selected port number mapping rule.
