Abstract
Disclosed is a method for generating a broadcast signal frame. The method includes: generating a multiplexed signal by combining a core layer signal and an enhancement layer signal at different powerlevels; reducing a power of the multiplexed signal to a power level corresponding to the core layer signal; generating a time-interleaved signal by performing interleaving applied to both the core layer and the enhancement layer; generating a broadcast signal frame including a preamble for signaling time interleaver information corresponding to the interleaving, wherein the interleaving is performed by using one of a plurality of modes of operation.
