- The present invention relates to an image encoding and decoding method. The image decoding method therefor may comprise the steps of: generating a current block merge candidate list including at leastone merge candidate among merge candidates corresponding to multiple reference image lists, respectively; determining at least one motion information by using the merge candidate list; and generatinga prediction block of the current block by using the determined at least one motion information.
