- Abstract
- Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for initial negotiation in a wireless LAN. An operating method of a station in a communication system comprises the steps of: generating a probe request frame including WUR capability information of the station which supports a WUR mode; transmitting the probe request frame; and receiving a probe response frame from an access point having received the proberequest frame. Therefore, the performance of the communication system can be improved.
