- Abstract
- The present invention relates to a method for encoding and decoding an image. The method for decoding an image may comprise the steps of: generating a first prediction block of the current block by means of movement data thereof; determining at least one movement data of the current low-level block that can be utilized to generate a second prediction block from among movement data of neighboring low-level blocks; generating at least one second prediction block of the current low-level block by means of the determined at least one movement data; and generating the final prediction block on thebasis of weighted sum of the first prediction block of the current block and at least one second prediction block of the current low-level block.
