Abstract: The present invention relates to an image encoding and decoding method. To this end, the image decoding method may comprise the steps of: acquiring transform coefficients of a current block from a bitstream; determining a scanning unit and a scanning order for the current block; and scanning and arranging the transform coefficients of the current block on the basis of the determined scanning unitand scanning order.
