- Abstract
- An image encoding/decoding method and device is provided. The image decoding method of the present disclosure may comprise the steps of: partitioning a coding unit into a plurality of sub-units according to a block partitioning structure; and performing decoding on the basis of the sub-units, wherein the block partitioning structure is a block partitioning structure according to which partitioningis performed such that the partitioned sub-units include at least one sub-unit having a predetermined block shape other than a square shape and a rectangular shape.
