Abstract
본 발명은 광 송신 모듈에 관한 것으로, 직접 변조 레이저(Directly Modulated Laser, DML) 기반의 직접 변조 레이저(DML) 송신부 및 수직으로 폴리싱된 배열 도파로 격자(Arrayed Waveguide Grating, AWG) 칩을 포함하되, 상기 직접 변조 레이저(DML) 송신부는 직접 변조 레이저(DML) 칩을 하나 이상 포함하는 직접 변조 레이저(DML)칩 어레이, 상기 하나 이상의 직접 변조 레이저(DML) 칩 각각을 임계 속도 이상으로 동작할 수 있도록 제어하는 임피던스 매칭 회로 및 상기 직접 변조 레이저(DML) 칩 어레이에 고주파(Radio Frequency, RF) 변조 신호를 전송하는 고주파 연성 인쇄 기판(Radio Frequency-Flexible Printed Circuit Board, RF-FPCB)을 포함하고, 상기 배열 도파로 격자(AWG) 칩은 다채널의 광 신호를 전달하는 광 도파로 및 상기 다채널의 광 신호를 다중화하는 파장 다중화부를 포함하고, 상기 직접 변조 레이저(DML) 송신부 및 상기 배열 도파로 격자 칩은 이격 되어 칩-투-칩(chip-to-chip) 광 결합한다.
