- 미국 에너지부(DOE)는 '20년 2월 과학분야의 인공지능(AI) 활용 및 개발전략이 담긴 보고서 「Al for Science」를 발간하였다. 물리학, 화학, 생물학, 공학 등 16개의 다양한 분야를 다루고 있으나, 본 브리프는 기초·응용과학연구에 지능화된 인프라를 제공하는 AI컴퓨팅 분야(에지AI, 고성능컴퓨팅)를 중심으로 핵심내용을 간략히 소개하고자 한다.
