폭증하는 무선 트래픽 수용을 위한 주파수 자원발굴과 효율적인 스펙트럼 이용으로 막힘없이 광대역 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 전파기반 기술 개발 o 모바일 광개토 플랜 2.0과 주파수 이용 신기술로 1.5㎓ 이상 주파수 발굴 및 기술지원 o 면허 및 비면허 대역의 Carrier Aggregation 전파 이용에 따른 차세대 소형셀 가용 대역폭 확보 및 주파수 공동사용 기술개발 o 회전모드 등 안테나 다중화 기술을 이용한 마이크로웨이브(M/W) 링크 스펙트럼 이용 효율 3배 이상 향상 o 활용 예정 주파수 대역 및 서비스별 전파자원의 이용효율성을 제고하고, 국가경제 발전을 위한 최적의 전파이용 정책을 발굴 o 신규 기술 및 서비스 도입을 위한 국내 무선설비 기술적 조건 마련과 개정 방안 연구 및 주파수 정책, 표준화 및 기술동향 조사 연구
