Abstract
□ 연구개발 배경 ◦ 국내 지상파 TV 방송의 디지털 전환이 2012년 완료됨에 따라 아날로그 라디오의 디지털화에 대한 관심 및 요구가 증가하고 있음 ◦ 최근 고효율/고품질의 오디오 코덱(USAC)이 개발되어 이를 적용한 디지털라디오 송수신 시스템을 개발하고 국내 적용을 검토해야 함 ◦ USAC 기반의 디지털 라디오 송수신시스템 및 양방향 디지털 라디오 송수신 시스템의 실험방송을 통해 원활한 디지털라디오 방송 서비스 도입을 위한 기반 제공
□ 최종목표 ◦ 고품질/고효율 디지털라디오 서비스를 위한 송수신 정합 규격 개발 및 고품질 부가 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 디지털라디오 서비스 고도화기술 국내/국제 표준개발 - 고효율 디지털라디오 서비스용 부/복호화기 표준 개발 - 고효율/고품질 디지털라디오 송수신 정합 표준 개발 - 양방향 디지털라디오 송수신 표준개발
□ 수행내용 및 결과 ◦ 방송망과 통신망을 연동하여 고품질/고효율 디지털라디오 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 디지털라디오 전송 규격, 음영지역이나 방송 권역 이동 시 FM과 디지털라디오를 연계하여 동일 콘텐츠를 지속적으로 볼수 있도록 하는 서비스 팔로잉 기술, 방송망과 통신망을 연동하여 하이브리드 라디오 서비스(전자서비스가이드, 슬라이드쇼, 태깅 및 하이브리드 웹)를 제공할 수 있는 하이브리드 라디오 룩업 규격, 멀티채널 오디오 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 MPEG Surround 오디오 기술 등 표준 개발
