Abstract
본 과제에서는 밀리미터파 대역용 유전체소재의 개발, 30GHz 대역에서의 유전체소재 특성평가시스템 구축 그리고 NRD 도파로형의 공진기 및 커플러의 설계와 제작을 수행하였다. 유전체소재는 $Li_2CO_3를 소결조제로 첨가한 MgAl_2O_4를$기본계로 선택하여 여기에 특성조제로 $Mg_2SnO_4를 소량 첨가한$ $Mg(Al_2-%Mg_xSn_x)O_4의$세라믹 유전체 조성물과 그 제조공정조건을 개발하였으며, 이 소재의 특성평가를 위해 Bethe's small hole coupling을 이용한 원형공동공진기를 설계/제작하여 밀리미터파 대역에서의 유전특성을 측정하였다. 그 결과 $Mg(Al_{2-2x}Mg_xSn_x)O_4의$세라믹 유전체 소재(조성 x = 0.05~0.10) 는 Ka 대역에서 120,000GHz의 $Q{ imes}f_0$, 8.1의 유전상수 ${epsilon}_r를$ 가지는 것을 확인하였고 따라서 밀리미터파 대역에서 활용할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 위의 결과물에 대한 기술검증을 위해 90${cric}$의 곡률과 45mm의 곡률반경을 가지는 두 개의 NRD 도파로로 구성된 3dB 커플러를 설계/제작하였고, 37.5~38.5GHz 대역에서 약 1.2dB의 손질을 가지는 NRD형 커플러를 구현할 수 있었다.
