Abstract
가. 연구 내용 본 연구는 우편물 순로구분 자동처리의 최종 목표 달성을 위해 ${igcirc}$ 우편물의 최종 배달처를 인식하기 위한 한글주소 고속 인식 시스템의 시제품 및 실용화 기술 개발 ${igcirc}$ 개발된 한글주소 고속 인식 시스템을 실시간으로 시험 및 평가하며 성능을 개선하기 위한 장치로서, 우편물을 이동시키며 영상을 획득하여 인식하는 실시간 서장 인식 실험 시스템 개발 ${igcirc}$ 인식 시스템의 개발과 분석, 성능 평가에 활용하기 위한 인쇄체 및 필기체 한글주소 표준영상 데이터베이스 구축 ${igcirc}$ 우편번호 및 주소에 대한 주소정보 시스템 개발 ${igcirc}$ 우편물을 자동구분 하기 위해 우편번호 및 우편 배달 주소를 코드화 하고 이를 검증하기 위한 4-state 바코드 시스템 개발 등을 연구 내용으로 한다. 나. 연구 범위 ${igcirc}$ 한글주소 고속 인식 시스템 개발 - 영상 이진화, 수신자 주소 영역 추출, 문자열 분할, 문자 분할 등을 포함하는 전처리 기술 개발 - 인쇄체 한글, 숫자, 기호 및 영문자를 고속으로 인식하는 인식엔진 개발 - 필기체 한글, 숫자, 기호 및 영문자를 고속으로 인식하는 인식엔진 개발 - 문자 인식 결과와 주소 데이터베이스를 기반으로 유효한 배달지 주소를 결정하는 주소 해석 기술 개발 ${igcirc}$ 실시간 서장 인식 실험 시스템 개발 - 초당 $4{sim}7$통의 속도로 이동하는 우편물의 영상을 획득하고 실시간으로 주소 인식 시스템과 연동하여 인식 결과를 출력하는 실험 시스템 개발 ${igcirc}$ 한글주소 표준영상 데이터베이스 구축 - 인쇄체 우편물 50,000통과 필기체 우편물 15,000통의 우편물 영상을 수집 및 가공하여 데이터베이스 구축 ${igcirc}$ 주소정보 시스템 개발 - 우편물 배달을 위한 주소, 배달 구역, 배달 순로 등의 주소정보 관리 시스템 개발 ${igcirc}$ 우편용 4-state 바코드 시스템 개발 - 우편물에 기재된 우편번호 및 주소를 인식한 후 바코드로 변환하기 위한 기술과 이를 고속으로 인쇄, 판독 및 검증하기 위한 시스템 개발
