Abstract
본 연구의 목표는 GIS의 구조를 세분화하고 주요기능을 컴포넌트로 부품화하여 개방형 GIS 각 컴포넌트에 대한 인터페이스 표준을 개발하여 고가의 범용 GIS를 사지 않고도 사용자가 원하는 GIS 응용시스템을 관련 실무목적에 맞도록 손쉽게 조립할 수 있도록 하여 이기종 GIS S/W와 공간데이터 간에 상호운용성과 재사용성을 확보하고 개방형 GIS 컴포넌트 기술의 기반을 제공하는 것이다. 이에 대한 주요 목표는 다음과 같다. ${igcirc}$ 개방형 GIS 시스템의 전체적인 구조에 대한 표준 개발 ${igcirc}$ 공간 데이터베이스에 저장된 공간 데이터를 접근할 수 있도록 해주는 개방형 GIS 인터페이스 표준 개발 ${igcirc}$ 공간 데이터를 처리하고 출력, 분석, 표현하는 핵심공통 기능을 정의 하고 인터페이스 표준 개발 ${igcirc}$ 기구축된 공간 데이터와 시스템간의 재사용성과 상호운용성을 위해 분산환경에서 공간정보유통을 위한 표준 개발
