국제공동연구로 수행되고 있는 위성관제 자동화 시스템 핵심기술 개발과제의 l 차년도는 연구개발 목표 및 내용의 달성에 있어서 성공적으로 진행되었으며 해외공동연구 업체인 스페인의 GMV Aerospace and Defense와의 연구협력도 유기적으로 수행되고 있다. 2차년도에는 1 차년도에 작성된 자동화 시나라오, 시스템 규격, 그리고 시스템 상세설계에 따라서 본격적인 자동화 시제품의 구현 및 시험을 수행할 예정이다. 2차년도의 개발내용은 관제 시스템 자동화 시제 품의 코딩 및 유닛시험, 시제품의 통합 및 시험, 그리고 시제품의 설치 및 운영시험으로 구성된다. 자동화 시제품의 통합 및 시험단계에서는 스페인의 GMV 엔지니어가 방한해서 한국의 엔지니어들과 공동으로 통합 및 시험을 수행할 예정이다.
