Abstract
본 연구제에서 수행한 2003년도 주요 연구내용은 다음과 같다. □ 산업체와 ETRI가 개발중인 차세대 네트워크 장비들의 개발단계별 종합 시험환경 구축 ○ 인터넷 기반의 차세대 네트워크 시험환경 구축 ○ 광 인터넷, 초고속 광가입자 기술 사업에서 개발중인 10G 이더넷 및 E-PON (EthernetPassive Optical Network) 시스템에 대한 네트워크 연동 및 종합시험 환경 구축 □ 국내 개발 차세대 네트워크 장비에 대한 기능, 성능시험 방법 등 시험기술을 개발하여 산업체, 연구기관에 기술 지원 ○ 차세대 네트워크 장비들에 대한 시험기술 및 시험절차서 개발 - E-PON, 10G 이더넷, 소프트스위치, 멀티서비스지원플랫폼 등 ○ 개발된 시험기술을 검증하고 표준화하여 관련 산업체와 연구기관에 보급 □ 산업체 및 ETRI의 차세대 네트워크 관련 개발 결과물에 대한 시험 수행 지원, 관련 서비스 시험환경 제공 ○ 국내 개발 장비에 대한 네트워크 차원의 종합 시험 수행 지원 ○ 고화질 스트리밍 서비스 등 인터넷 컨텐츠 서비스의 시험환경 지원 ○ 무선랜, 디지털 홈 등 가입자 네트워크 시험환경 지원 2. 연구결과 □ 산업체와 ETRI가 개발중인 차세대 네트워크 장비들의 개발단계별 종합 시험환경 구축 ○ 인터넷 기반의 차세대 네트워크 시험환경 구축 ○ 10Gbps급 기가랜 스위치 등의 백본 네트워크 시험 환경 구축 ○ Metro-Ethernet, MSPP, 소프트스위치 등 액세스 네트워크 시험환경 구축 ○ 고화질 스트리밍 서비스 등 인터넷 컨텐츠 서비스의 시험을 위한 서버 환경 구축 ○ 10Gbps 이더넷 및 E-PON 시스템에 대한 네트워크 연동 및 종합시험 환경 구축 □ 국내 개발 차세대 네트워크 장비에 대한 기능, 성능시험 방법 등 시험기술을 개발하여 산업체, 연구기관에 기술 지원 ○ 차세대 네트워크 장비들에 대한 시험기술 및 시험절차서 개발 ○ 2003년도 시험기술 개발 대상 장비 : E-PON, 10G 이더넷, 소프트스위치, MSPP ○ 구축된 시험환경에서 개발된 시험방법과 시험 절차서를 검증하여 TTA 등을 통해 산업체와 연구기관에 보급하고 기술 지원 수행 ○ 네트워크 장비 및 서비스 시험기술 기준의 표준화 추진 □ 산업체 및 ETRI의 차세대 네트워크 관련 개발 결과물에 대한 시험 수행 지원, 관련 서비스 시험환경 제공 ○ 구축된 네트워크 시험환경을 이용하여 국내 개발 장비에 대한 네트워크 연동시험, 상호 운용성, 적합성 시험 등 네트워크 차원의 종합 시험 수행 지원 ○ 고화질 스트리밍 서비스 등 인터넷 컨텐츠 서비스의 시험환경 지원
