Abstract
광능동 소자: 수동광정렬을 위한 모드크기변환기가 집적된 FP-LD 와 LD 의 광출력 감시용 도파로형 PD (waveguide-PD)을 개발하고, 이 소자들을 실리카 PLC 기반의 하이브리드 집적 다채널 광원 모듈 개발에 이용하였다. 또한, Asymmetric Sampled Grating DFB-LD 어레이 칩을 개발하고, 1 × 4 power combiner와 자체 SOA를 집적함으로써 모노리식 4채널 LD 어레이 칩을 개발하였다. 실리카 PLC 소자: 광출력 결합을 위한 8 채널 실리카 AWG-WDM 소자 및 4채널 하이브리드 집적 광원 모듈을 위한 실리카 PLC 플랫폼을 개발하였다. 실리카 광모듈 플랫폼은 LD/PD실장용 플랫폼,PLC 회절격자용 도파로 및 Y-분기를 이용한 1 × 4 광출력 결합기를 일체형으로 단순화 설계 및 제작하였다. 8 채널 광원 모듈: 모노리식 4 채널 ASG-DFB-LD 어레이 칩을 이용한 모듈과 실리카 PLC 플랫폼을 이용한 하이브리드 집적 4 채널 광원 모듈을 각각 개발하였다. 8채널의 구성은 2 × 4 채널 모듈을 결합하여 구성하였다.
