Abstract
기존 동선 전화선 구축 비용 수준으로 가입자 댁내 혹은 가입자 근처까지 광선로를 설치하기 위한 경제적 광가입자망의 구현을 최종 목표로 한다 이를 위해 최대 64분기를 갖는 PON(Passive Optical Network) 기술, 622Mb/s 단위의 $32{ imes}32 $ATM 스위치 기능을 갖는 OLT(Optical Line Termination), 전주형 및 Desktop형 ONU(Optical Network Unit), 기존 전화선을 활용하기 위한 고속 디지털 모뎀 등을 각각 저가로 개발하고, 음성 및 광대역 멀티미디어 등 다양한 서비스를 수용하기 위한 가입자와 서비스 노드 접속기술을 개발한다.
