Abstract
가. 광능동소자: 1 )모드크기변환을 위하여 LD의 방사각을 줄여 수동 광정렬의 Align tolerance를 향상시킨다. 2 )저가격형 WDM 광원을 위해서 SOA/PD array를 제작하며, 100nm 파장 영역을 확보하기 위해 여러 개의 media gain을 이용한다. 나. 실리카 PLC 기술: 1 ) 실리카 PLC기술을 이용한 AWG WDM, Grating 구조를 구현한다. 2 ) 실리카 PLC platform을 제작하고 광능동 소자와의 집적화를 위한 align mark 및 bonding pad를 설정하여 수동광정렬이 가능하도록 한다 다. 수동광정렬 기술: 1 ) 적외선을 이용하는 수동광정렬을 사용하여 저가격화를 이룰 뿐만 아니라, 자동화를 가능하게 한다 2 ) 전극 및 솔더를 실리론 V-groove 내에 형성하여 V-groove내에서 광소자를 솔더링하므로써 높이방향의 정렬오차를 최소화한다. 3 ) external cavity를 구성하기 위하여 PLC 회절격자를 UV-노출에 의하여 제작하여 활용한다. 라. WDM-PON 표준화: 1 )국제규격 수동광정렬을 달성하기 위하여 정렬 마크, PLC 코어 및 광섬유
