Abstract
본 연구의 목표는 다채널 광커넥터와 저손실 고분자 광도파로를 기반으로 하는 12채널 광접속 모듈 및 24채널 광접속 모듈 개발을 위한 기반기술 및 모듈 구현기술 개발임. 저손실 12채널 및 24채널 광커넥터 구현기술 개발을 위하여 손실예측 해석을 통한 구조의 허용공차를 설정, 성형용 저변형 고분자 소재 해석으로 요구물성을 확보, 서브미크론급 정밀 금형의 설계 및 제작 등을 수행. 열팽창계수 $7 imes10^{-6}$/$^{circ}C$ 소재 개발과 접속단면의 5nm급 연마조건을 설정하여 12채널 및 24채널 광커넥터 시제품을 제작, 접속손실 1.0dB 이하의 특성을 획득. 정밀 고분자 도파막 형성 및 다층 미세성형기술 개발을 위하여 고분자 광도파막 소재 및 최적의 구조 설계, 엠보싱용 Master를 제작하여 미세구조의 고분자 광도파로를 형성. 도파막 제어기술 연구, 코어 충진기술 연구, 다층 도파로 적층기술 개발로 도파손실이 0.1dB/cm 수준의 12채널 및 24채널 광도파로를 제작. 광접속 모듈 설계 및 패키징을 위해 고효율의 1D/2D 반사경 구조 고안, 광커넥터 접속 구조 최적화방안 연구, Si 광학벤치를 이용한 VCSEL/PD 어레이칩 패키징, 저손실 정렬기법 연구, 저 소비전력화기술 연구 등을 수행하여 채널당 2.5Gbps의 24채널 광접속 모듈을 구성 및 구현.
