Abstract
본 연구개발의 목표달성을 위한 주요 연구내용은 다음과 같다. - 개방형 GIS 컴포넌트 아키텍처 설계 OGC 의 국제 표준을 참조하여 분산 네트워크상의 공간정보 상호운용(Interoperability)을 위한 개방형 아키텍처를 설계하고, 다양한 GIS 응용시스템의 효율적인 구축을 지원하는 GIS 요소기술 컴포넌트 구조를 설계하였다. 모든 컴포넌트 설계는 UML로 수행하여 확장성 및 재사용이 가능토록 하였다. - 데이터 제공자 컴포넌트 데이터 제공자 컴포넌트는 공간정보의 상호운용(Interoperability)을 지원하기 위한 OGC 국제 표준 사양의 데이터 액세스 모델을 구현한 것으로 특정 GIS 소프트웨어의 데이터 포맷이나 처리 엔진에 의존하지 않고 Microsoft의 UDA 기술인 OLE/DB 사양을 공간정보 처리를 위하여 확장한 Extended OLE/DB 인터페이스를 통하여 공간정보에 접근 및 액세스를 지원하는 컴포넌트이다. - 핵심공통(MapBase) 컴포넌트 핵심공통 컴포넌트는 개방형 GIS 컴포넌트 시스템의 커널로서 OGC의 Simple Features Specification for OLE COM 사양을 구현하고, 다양한 GIS 응용에 필요한 GIS 핵심 요소기술을 지원하는 컴포넌트들을 추가하였다. 핵심공통 컴포넌트는 개방형 GIS 컴포넌트 아키텍처 상에서 다양한 GIS 요소기술을 지원하는 5범주의 컴포넌트군으로 구성된다. - 정보유통 컴포넌트 분산환경하에서의 공간정보의 탐색, 액세스, 처리를 위한 공간정보 유통 컴포넌트는 본 시스템 환경인 개방형 아키텍처상에서의 공간정보 유통과 인터넷상에서의 공간정보 유통을 위한 컴포넌트를 개발하였다. - 응용 컴포넌트 본 연구개발을 통하여 개발된 컴포넌트 소프트웨어를 활용하여 지방자치단체에서 가장 필요로 하는 5종류의 응용시스템을 개발하였다.
